We are a Thriving group within our wonderful town.
Droitwich is a town 6 miles to the north of Worcester, 20 miles from Stratford-on-Avon and 22 miles from Birmingham.
It has been occupied since well before Roman times and is renowned for its production of salt, which still bubbles to the surface in Vines Park. The River Salwarpe runs through, as does the newly restored Barge and Junction canal which was built to move salt all over the world.
We have a general monthly meeting at 2:30 at the Norbury Theatre on Friar Street on the 3rd Monday of each month as well as having a lively list of more specific interest groups and activities.
The annual membership is very modest.
